Why Tacca Studio exists

Many people are drawn to Taichi because they want to feel more balanced, relaxed, and connected to their body. Yet traditional Taichi can sometimes feel distant, difficult to access, or too martial for modern beginners.

Tacca Studio was created to make Zhaobao Taichi and Qigong more approachable without losing the depth of the practice. We present the training in a calm, structured, and accessible way for people who want a sustainable practice they can return to regularly.

Whether you are learning from home, joining guided practice, or gathering for a retreat, the goal is the same: to move with more ease, awareness, and inner steadiness.

Our simple belief

Taichi does not need to feel intimidating. It can be gentle, refined, and deeply meaningful.

With the right guidance, students can build confidence step by step โ€” through slow movement, natural alignment, relaxed breathing, and consistent practice.

Our approach to practice

We teach with a focus on clarity, consistency, and calm progress.

๐ŸŒฟ

Gentle but precise

The movements are soft and low-impact, but still guided by clear principles of posture, balance, coordination, and body awareness.

๐Ÿง˜

Calm strength

Our practice is not about forcing the body. It is about developing grounded, relaxed strength through mindful movement and steady repetition.

Modern learning

Students can learn from home through online courses, guided practice, replays, and a clear path that supports regular progress.

Zhaobao Taichi lineage

Tacca Studioโ€™s Zhaobao Taichi practice is connected to the lineage and teachings of Grandmaster Wayne Peng.

We aim to honour the traditional principles of Zhaobao Taichi while presenting them in a way that is understandable and practical for todayโ€™s students.

A traditional practice, presented with care

Zhaobao Taichi is a refined internal martial art with deep principles of balance, relaxation, circular movement, and internal awareness.

At Tacca Studio, we place emphasis on helping students experience these principles gradually. The training is not rushed. Students are encouraged to understand the movement, feel the body, and develop steadiness over time.

  • Respect for traditional Taichi principles
  • Clear explanations for modern learners
  • Gentle progression for beginners
  • Practice that supports both body and mind
